Hello families! After a much needed week off to wrap up our High School quarter 1 grades and prepare to meet all new classes for Quarter 2, I am ready with another week's worth of fun activities for you all. This week's focus is mostly about our family and our home. We will look at ourselves and our family members, what a home is, what's in a home, and the homes in our community. I am really excited about some of these activities and it's making me really miss being in our preschool and experiencing these things with our kids. I hope you enjoy! Activity Menu for this week:

Happy November Little Jags families! I hope everyone had a fun Halloween, or at least a great week with the beautiful weather that we had all week. For the next few weeks, all of November to be exact, we will be exploring the topics of About Me, My Family, and My Community. About Me is a theme that explores our preschoolers identities. Preschoolers are increasingly aware of their personal characteristics, as well as the characteristics of others. They are understanding the differences of others, as well as their own personal preferences and interests! My Family is a theme that explores what makes a family, who is in my family, and what values our family shares. My Community is a theme that explores the community we live in, what places we go to and what we need in a community, who works and lives in our community and what makes a community special! There are so many opportunities to dive into with these topics, so I hope that you enjoy! Activity Menu for this week:

Thanks everybody and have a great week!
Can you believe October is already over!? This month has brought some beautiful fall weather, and some great opportunities to get outside and explore and collect some wonderful materials for our projects! We will continue to take advantage of the season this week as well, as we continue our journey through Fall! Halloween is coming up and we'd love to do a costume sharing! I know our high schoolers would love to catch a glimpse of the amazing preschoolers that they are creating lessons for. If you are willing to share a picture of your preschooler (or even better, your entire family!) for us to share on our blog next week, that would be awesome! It would be so great to see everybody that we are missing. Please send those by next Saturday to [email protected]! This week I have included a short feedback form in an effort to let my students know how everyone is feeling about their lessons. Our students are really bummed that they don't get to physically work with the preschoolers, and so this would be a great opportunity to connect and let them know that they are still doing meaningful work and to give them the feedback that they are missing by not being able to actually "teach" their lessons in class. Story Corner is located just below the survey, so check that out too! Activity Menu for this week:

What a nice week we had last week! I hope you were all able to enjoy our beautiful fall weather this last week and weekend. This week we will move away from colors and shapes, although I always recommend reinforcing those in any opportunity that you see fit! We will be looking at fall nature and harvest (pumpkins, apples, corn) for the next couple of weeks. I am really excited for this week, as 5 of our 6 activities were fully created by my CD 3 high school students. For their first time EVER creating a lesson plan, I was so impressed by them. I hope you enjoy exploring the activities this week! Activity Menu for this Week:

Have a great week everyone, and don't forget that you can share your adventures by emailing us photos or feedback to [email protected] !
Happy second week! I hope that some of you were able to enjoy a few of the activities from last week. This week, we are still learning about colors and shapes, but adding more of a "Fall" element to the week. As we move on through October and November, our focus will continue to be Fall, but we will be incorporating pumpkins, harvest, about me, families, and community into our lessons. I hope you enjoy this week's activities! We have 6 activities again this week, and another book reading from Mrs. Anne! Next week will be our first week with lessons from our CHS students!! I can't wait to see what they come up with! Activity Menu for this week:
