This is the party all of our preschoolers were looking forward to all week! We did crafts with our family, played games, practiced wrapping presents, and at the end of the evening we performed our songs for our parents. What an amazing start to our winter break. Thank you all for coming, and we had a BLAST with all of our friends and family at the party.
The finishing touches!
And FINALLY the party has begun!
Oh how fun it is to get pictures of all of our preschooler friends! We were VERY excited to sing for our family and friends! So much fun!
Thank you to all of our amazing Little Jag families for joining our festivities and thank you to our preschoolers who sang for us! The preschoolers were very excited to share all of their artwork and play in the classroom with their family!
Below is a slideshow of all of the family photos I got a chance to take; slide through and enjoy your family photo!
Thank you again for coming out to celebrate with us, enjoy time with your family, and we'll see you back here in 2015!
Last week in the preschool sure was busy! We had two fantastic days in the preschool as well as an extra day to play new games created by students. To top off the week we celebrated with our family and friends at the Winter Party!
This week the preschoolers sure had a blast, with lots of crafts, songs, games, and preparation for the party we've all been waiting for!
Christmas is in two Days! This year has flown by, I hope that your family is able to spend some quality time enjoying the holiday season! 2014 has been an exciting year, and I can't believe its almost over! Here's an activity to help welcome the new year!

What you'll do:
In this activity it's focusing on all of your favorite things!
Thank you for such an exciting start to the Little Jags Preschool, See you all Next Year!
This week in the preschool we explored the world in our classroom! The weekly theme was around the world and we learned all about different cultures from ALL around the globe through games, crafts, and unique projects.
This week the kids had a blast learning about different cultures and their traditions as they played games, made masks, and traveled the globe! At circle time, children rotated in small groups to experience 5 different cultural games.
Rainy Day Activity:
This week for the Rainy Day Activity, we're looking at where our food comes from around the world! A lot of food may come from within the state or from around the globe! This activity is a neat way for children to see how the world is connected and where their food comes from!
Teachers of the Week:
Wow! It's already December and we've had two months of preschool! Each week we've had a chance to explore and learn in exciting ways. This weeks theme was Healthy Me; we got to explore different ways of being healthy and learn all about our five senses.
Making lemonade! In this activity the preschoolers got to practice their five senses by making individual lemonade. The kids had a blast making their own lemonade, some thought it was good while others thought it was sour!
If you ever want to do this at home: Take a Ziploc bag, 1/4 lemon wedge, 1 tsp sugar (can add more to taste also), 1/2 cup water and some ice preferably. Have children put ingredients into bag, smoosh it and mix it up...make sure to get the lemon pulp out, and then place a straw in the bag and zip it shut! An easy "to go" drink as well.
