This week we learned a lot about pumpkins and even got to pick our own at the Plumper Pumpkin Patch! Take a look at all the fun activities we participated in during Pumpkin week!
We all got to pick our favorite pumpkin!
Front row seats to the Pig Race! What an exciting event!
Playground Fun! Slides, obstacle courses, pumpkin rolling and more!
We got to see the cows, chickens, goats and pigs that live on the farm!
From falling asleep on the bus ride home to a little dance party after the Pumpkin Patch before going home... What a great day!
Hallway activities : We played red rover again and challenged the preschoolers to move in new ways. During free play, we had pumpkin bowling in the hallway!
We learned all about pumpkins at our daily table activities. We were scientists measuring and exploring the insides of pumpkins, we sang a pumpkin song while working in small groups to complete the life cycle of a pumpkin, we worked with our teachers to do a "What's Inside a Pumpkin" craft, and so much more!
All sorts of things to explore during free play with our friends!
There are many pumpkin art and science activities available if you want to continue the learning at home! This is always a fun topic for the preschoolers so lets encourage it!
