While some were finishing a craft, many of the preschoolers wrote a story in class using Mad Libs. Each preschooler said a noun, verb, or adjective at random, and then Mrs. Anne read us the story they had helped write. Now we want to share that story with you! The name in the parentheses is the preschooler who gave the word/phrase in bold. Let's Go Camping!
Ira (Jacob), Ethan (Ross) and Caleb (Andrew) wanted to go camping. First, they needed a tent. They decided to make a tent out of dirt (Caleb) and sand (Rian) and rocks (Kelsee). Next they packed other things they would need for camping like food (Aiden) and Alexa (Hudson). They were ready to go! They started going to the lake (Emmy), into the woods. They got nervous when they saw a wolf (Millie). Then they realized it was just a silly fox (Lucia). When they found the campsite they unpacked the toilet paper (Talia) and then decided to go brush their teeth (Iza). Now they were tired and asked their parents to help them make a campfire. They used a pot (Eiad) and sleeping bag (Sarah) to build a fire. It was very warm (Ella). They sat around the campfire telling bumpy, dark, scary (Alex) stories. Finally, it was time to go to sleep. They had a great camping trip! Next time they want to camp at the beach (Amia)!
