Happy Halloween! We celebrated this week with science activities, lots of art, and trick or treating! Take a look at our costumes and all the fun we had this week! Our Costumes!Trick or Treating! We received lots of goodies from teachers and staff around the school! Lots of walking but it was worth it! Our Century staff is always so wonderful to host us in their classrooms and offices. Table ActivitiesAlways working on our fine motor skills! We wrote words in salt, tried to free spiders and pom poms from a web-y trap, decorating a pumpkin by hammering and sticking things in it, bobbed for apples and eyeballs with tongs, made some spooky art projects with fun stamping tools, and participated in some logic and reasoning tests! Free Play!Exploring all kinds of fun during free play! Painting, kitchen, blocks and more! Sensory TableApple and Pumpkin Activity! In this activity we observed pumpkins and apples, looking at the similarities and differences between them using a Venn diagram! Now we know even more about each of them! Our preschoolers used great descriptive words like smooth, bumpy, round and flat. They compared colors, smell, feel, and use of their apples and pumpkins. A few other pictures from Halloween week!Thank you everyone for such as fun Halloween week! We sure enjoyed it and we hope you did too! Have a spook-tacular week! Rainy Day Activity
