Once Upon a time... in the Little Jags Preschool, we learned about everything that makes up fairy tales. We learned about witches, fairies, unicorns, dragons, and we even wrote our own Little Jags Fairy Tale!

Once upon a time in preschool, there was a Prince named Zech. He was supposed to rescue the princess named Brianna from an evil witch who was black and pink and liked to make webs for a web shooter. But there was a problem, the Prince was afraid of one thing, carrots, which happened to be growing around the tower. The Prince knew he needed to rescue the Princess though. So, the very pretty prince jumped on his monkey and headed for the tower. As soon as he got there he thought he was going to be sick so he asked his fairy Godmother Ellie to help. She granted the prince 2 wishes. The first wish was for a jet. The second was for a hammer. The items gave the prince strength to skip up the stairs to rescue the Princess. The Prince battled the monster and won. He saved the Princess! They rode back the the castle on a unicorn. The Fairy Godmother gave then french toast and orange juice to eat. They lived happily ever after. The End.

Whimsical names!
This week in the preschool we even got to put on masks and act out fairy tales!  In small groups of four, the preschoolers took turns acting out "The three billy goats gruff."  This was so fun for them - even when they were just in the audience!

This week the preschoolers had a ton of fun using their imagination to create stories and projects! We read fairy tales, made up our own, and even decided if we would kiss a frog.

Rainy Day Activity!
Royal Detective Shoe Hunt

Oh no! Cinderella has lost her shoes to wear for preschool! She needs help finding her shoe!
This activity is a scavenger hunt for Cinderella's missing shoe. Start by hiding one shoe, and together as a family you'll work as Royal Detectives to find the missing shoes. Give clues along the way, such as " The shoe is near where we eat dinner every night", the "shoe is where the dog sleeps". This activity is a ton of fun! Its a fun bonding activity and it gives the preschoolers a chance to use their problem solving skills. This game can be played countless times, let your preschooler hide the shoe and give you clues to find it! The possibilities are endless.

Enjoy the sunshine this weekend!
There's a ton of free, fun family activities in Washington County!
