In our second week of Preschool, we celebrated the amazing things that makes us unique! We played games, did crafts, and learned many new things. Take a look at this awesome week of preschool! Action Packed FunThis week, we played so many games! We tried to balance bean bags on our body, experimented with the parachute, practiced balancing, played "emotions" hockey, and even did some yoga! Learning and DiscoveryThis week, we did a ton of group crafts. We made our first hand drawn self portrait, which we are going to compare to the one we do at the end of the year. After listening to a story about emotions, we then chose an emotion and decorated a face to look just like ours! We made it out of "loose parts," such as noodles, buttons, and other crafty things. Finally, with the help of our High School friends, we traced and decorated our bodies on a big piece of paper. We even hung them up on the wall for everyone to see! It is so much fun to find our "paper selves" every time we are in the hallway. Free Time!At our table centers, we did lots of arts and crafts. We made people out of paper that looked like us, as well as painted our faces on a big mirror to make a "mirror image" of ourselves. We also practiced measuring things, finding letters in a word search, and tracing words. When we weren't at a station, we played dress up, read books, explored the sensory table, and did so much more! Candid MomentsWe had a great time this week with all our Preschool friends!
